I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Staff is kind to my friend, and has been keeping his spirits up ever since visits got limited for COVID. The food is good and the people who work there are nice. The rooms are bright, with big windows. Activities are always going on, mostly games and music. Nell the social worker has been great at helping me navigate applying for medicaid, to keep this affordable.

Staff is friendly. Activities lady, Jody, does a great job keeping up with activities that everybody enjoys, even on weekends. Care staff is kind. Rooms are smaller, it is an older building, and it takes Medicaid. Food is always good.

I visited this facility

The rooms here are mostly semi private, but they do have private rooms. They accept medicare, medicaid, private insurance, and private pay, or some combination of these. The staff answered my questions and were friendly. They seemed attentive to the residents. There was live music going on in the building during my visit, with light refreshments. Willow Gardens Care Center offers a van with a wheelchair lift to get residents out to outings, activities and appointments. They have activities every day, including weekends. The building is all one level, and all of it is wheelchair accessible. It is an older building, but it had good care, lots of activities, and happy people in it.

Well dont know how this place could get even a ONE. My mom hasnt been here very long maybe 4or 5 months she has dementia and if they cant probably take care of her why they take her in the first place little over a month her being here they asked me to move her and the next day my mom was sent to the Hospital for a out break just to be told she could return well i start to look and find another place and dont you know they take her back to just again try this again last weekend and just yesterday Cassie the administrator and i had a discussion one day overbilling and I disagreed and she told me to come and pick her up if I didn't like it Mel the Socail Worker is a joke to suppose to help family yeh right dont count on it the owner of this place needs to shut it down and the employees talk in the hallway openly about how unfairly they're treated so if you love your love ones dont bring them here the rooms are over crowded and the food most be ok my mom eats its

I am/was a resident of this facility

The service was poor in Willow Gardens. As for the meals, you eat it right then and there. In 10 minutes, they wheel it back out of the cafeteria. It was lackluster. I was in a room that was made for a single person, and they made it into a two-person room. The other person who was in the room was an older man, and he had to have help going to the bathroom and everything. He would ring because he had to go, and you could hear the help standing outside the door joking about things or just making him wait. The cleanliness was fairly good, but it left a lot to be desired. You got a mixed emotion about that place because it's all that some people can afford. It's cheap, and the poorer people need it.

We already placed my aunt on Willow Gardens care center. She hasn't been there for long though. I would say that it was adequate. It is not the Taj Mahal, but it is what she could afford. It is fine. We have had a good experience so far. I've only been there three times, but the staff has been helpful and friendly. They could probably use a little more staff in the housekeeping. But other than that, everything else seems to be alright. They have all kind of stuff for activities like physical therapy and occupational therapy. The place is close to my aunt's relative, and it was affordable.

I like Willow Gardens Care Center, and I would recommend them. My husband is getting good care, and it's very cheerful looking. We're satisfied with it. My husband really hasn't really gotten involved in the activities, but they do have activities there. The food is very good. The price is right, and I think it is a very nice place.
